Leading the group of outstanding thinkers, the team of highly creative individuals and the skyrocketing start-up company.My responsibilities:- supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements- contribute to open source software development, standardization of technologies, and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers outside the company, releasing code, presenting at conferences, and writing for publication (online or offline)- maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by attending relevant conferences- promulgate coding conventions and documentation standards- conduct code reviews and specification conformance testing as defined by the selected software development methodology- select, deploy, and monitor performance profiling tools and procedures

We were developing OpenOMS - openSource OMS/EMS system. OpenOMS is a platform used by hedge funds, investment banks, broker houses, individual brokers, etc. to test, simulate and possibly deploy they investment strategies. Platform provides environment for high frequency, low latency automated algorithm trading. Users (hedge fund, brokers, ...) can create investment strategies, push it through all the phases (similar to software development) from simulation, testing to prod environment with ease. Investment strategy (created in various languages) can be fully evaluated on historical data and on demo/real trading environment, while theNAV (portfolio net asset value) is measured in real time. It's a distributed system created using SOA principles...

We were working on a business process simulator for ARIS and OEM version for Oracle. The client application, where the user creates BPMN or EPC models. These models can be sent to the simulation server (backed by the engine from Lanner) where the simulation is executed. It was a pleasure and privilege to be a part of IDS Scheer simulation team.

I was a programmer. My main responsibilities was creation of dataminig scripts which generates web pages filled with mined data. (PHP,Perl, HTML, CSS, XML and MySQL, PostgreSQL databases)
