I've been working with multiple companies, helping them to improve their web development workflow. This included introducing automation tools, git VCS courses or consulting possible tools and/or practices to be used. Everything is tailored to the specific company to make the impact as big as possible. Team which just started using git needs different approach then other team that is looking to improve their deployment workflow.

For Driveto I handle the web app development as well as make some architectural decisions. I also take part in creating internal processes both technical and non-technical. I gained extensive experience in Symfony, working with Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ. I've also deepened my domain knowledge of cars and operational leases. I enjoyed the challenging experience of rapidly evolving startup.

Moje školy is a non profit project stareted on PragueHacks 2015 hackathon. It's aim is to give parents better information about schools and allowing them to make informed decision when choosing a school for their kid. I've prepared the servers for Elasticsearch, NodeJS, PHP and MySQL hosting required for the project and also helped with PHP tasks during the hackthon.

Main part of my job as Zend Framework developer was to analyze, create specification, assess the price and develop various features requested by our clients. I had to take business, technical and also financial aspects into consideration. Sometimes I communicated with the client directly to clarify possible problems or misunderstandings. We embraced agile development. The feature could have been deployed to production in few minutes or days (depending on the complexity). Apart from general requests I was responsible for payment gateway integrations. Other part of the job was development of the main version that we branch custom applications from. We collaborated closely with my colleagues on selecting and developing features that most of our clients would benefit from. It was a big responsibility and we were guided by management only in general terms. It was great that management supported us whenever we choose customer-facing or performance improvements as well as refactorings that allowed us to implement customers requests easier in future. Last part of my job was administration and development of internal tools. We used number of different tools ranging from simple scripts to create local copy of remote database to more complex applications, like our fully automated one-click deploy system based on Phing. The thing I liked the most about the job is the friendly atmosphere where it's easy to express your ideas and concerns as well as extensive collaboration (code review, pair programming, discussions, etc) that fueled personal growth of the whole team. I also liked the high level of autonomy I had.

I was responsible for development of hosting infrastructure that would allow us to horizontally scale our ecommerce solution. The stack is developer as Instrastructure as a Code using SaltStack. Contains front-facing nginx load balancer, that sends requests to number of worker nodes (php-fpm and nginx to allow direct requests). The data is persisted to replicated MariaDB instance. The whole stack is being monitored by Nagios instance. The new infrastructure shows more then 60% better results in terms of request times and number of concurrent connections then our old managed VPS for only slightly higher price. The stack is now up and running, one instance hosting one of our big clients, second instance prepared to host multiple smaller clients in the upcoming months. I continue to work on improvements and fixes together with our system administrator.This project has been a huge experience for me and allowed me to improve my linux administration skills.

I worked on various projects with technologies spreading from Zend Framework based websites and Drupal sites to MongoDB backed AngularJS web app. I've handled both developement of new websites and features as well as support for existing clients.

I co-organized monthly meetup of Czech Zend Framework developers. It started as quite tight community super-focused on ZF. But later it evolved into broader developer meetup. Every week we had one or two talks about various development topics, prepared by some of the attendees. We also had few offspring events - like Zend Framework bughunt night. I enjoyed working with the community very much.

I developed various portal and ecommerce websites for Michal Palán using PHP, Zend Framework and MySQL. I was the only developer in the team and the whole project from technical point of view was my responsibility. I created my own ecommerce platform for this task that allowed me to implement features the projects required. However I was not doing any CSS coding. I worked with Michal only part-time when I was studying at the university.

I created whole website for Mr. Randák from Termovize.com. That included HTML/CSS coding of the template, dynamic aspects of the website as well as image manipulation and content review. The website has been recently redesigned and migrated to Joomla by a different company, because I did not have enough time with my full time job at W3W.

I worked in H1 asi backlink administrator. The position required deep knowledge of the way the search engines work and also some bright ideas how to aproach the problems in a new way.
