Started his career in the financial area of the business as Internal Auditor, then moved to Finance Director and CFO role and then as CEO of media agency Mindshare and executive member of the Board of Groupm. Since January 2023 Tomás helps ideas and projects turn into great business as business consultant, advisor while at the same time investing.As an investor and advisor in Beneficio Gin, PWX and others, Tomás uses his 20+ year in leadership roles in WPP group to help those businesses achieve accelerated growth while maintaining a focus in building good profitable companies. Previous to that, Tomás spent 20 years in WPP Group as CEO of Mindshare and member of the Board of Groupm. As CEO of Mindshare Portugal, provided strategic leadership that resulted in above the market finantial results for the company, continuous change management to adapt the offer of the company to changes in the marketing evironment, consistent above the average NPS results from clients and great NPS from people working for Mindshare throughout the years.As member of the Board in Groupm, Tomás provided insightful leadership into the development of the group in Portugal, leader in the media agency market for the last 20 years. Also, Tomás was responsible for the launch of StudioM (first industry specialist media agency in the market dedicated to the health and beauty advertisers) and developed the content unit of the group, Groupm Content In the Name of Brand Love, with focus in delivery of growth (above 25% YOY), collaboration with Groupm and other WPP agencies and launch of the inovation team to deal with new brands necessities (ESG), web 3.0 and merge of creativity and media.His career in WPP group was built on quality of results in previous roles that allowed him to be selected for new challenges. Previous to the role in Mindshare he was Commercial Director in Groupm with a strong role in operations, legal, IT, new areas of offer, revenue and leading the acquisition of a Search Marketing Ltd. in 2008.
