Recruited on exact date of TEVA Pharmaceuticals $7.0 billion acquisition of IVAX Pharmaceuticals. Responsible for the Supply Chain & Materials Management organization and for leading the strategic integration of both company’s Supply Chain Management teams and products across 13 facilities worldwide. Managed 6 Direct Reports: Director of Purchasing, Director of Production Planning, Director of Materials Management, Manager Inventory Control, Manager Strategic Planning and SIOP, and Manager Outsourced Manufacturing. Managed team of 35 corporate and 35 operational employees including career development, performance management, and skills realignment to the Purchasing and Planning functions for the business (all 13 facilities worldwide).▬ Developed and implemented vision, strategy, policies and procedures to achieve corporate objectives and support an aggressive sales plan with targeted revenues for FY 2006 of $7.8 billion dollars.▬ Reengineered Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning process, resulting in new Supply Plan for the combined enterprise.▬ Established performance metrics and managed department performance against metrics target for combined TEVA / IVAX.▬ Identified key resources, established stringent timetables and raised staff performance levels in order to achieve on time/on budget delivery of new products.▬ Cost reduction initiatives such as inventory reduction, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), transportation contract re-negotiation and product rationalization exceeded $1.3 million.
