• Developing groundwater models for a range of different geologic environments and multi‐scale evaluation of variably saturated hydrogeologic conditions and potential impacts associated with groundwater use (groundwater withdrawal, tailing storage, seepage containment and management, water balance cover design, and artificial recharge facilities). Modeling expertise using MODFLOW (GMS, GW Vistas, Visual Modflow), FEFLOW and HYDRUS • GIS database development and management, analysis, and mapping related to watershed and hydrogeologic applications using industry standard software (ArcGIS, ArcView, ArcInfo, and associated packages). • Application of geophysics for well site selection, subsurface target detection and discrimination, hydrogeologic characterization, contaminant detection and distribution, and time-lapse hydrogeologic monitoring. • Groundwater well rehabilitation and re-equipping • Groundwater and monitoring well design, permitting, drilling, construction oversight, and aquifer testing.• Design and installation of vadose zone monitoring wells equipped to track water movement in real-time as well as obtain water targeted water samples from the variably saturated conditions within the vadose zone. • Investigations associated with artificial groundwater recharge operations including surface spreading basins, vadose zone recharge wells and aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells.
