The Lewis Group of Companies is one of the nation's largest privately held real estate development companies. His primary focus was the closure and redevelopment of approximately 556 acres surrounding the former Rialto Municipal Airport into the Renaissance mixed-use community. Tom's responsibilities included re-entitling certain portions of the project, relocation of existing tenants to other facilities (both existing and newly constructed), infrastructure design and construction, land acquisition and disposition, and managing the day-to-day operations of the joint venture with Hillwood.At build-out, the Renaissance project will consist of approximately 1,262 homes, 112 acres of retail, and in excess of 7 million square feet of industrial development. During his tenure with Lewis, transactions were completed with Target, Medline Industries, and Niagara Water for new distribution facilities within Renaissance.
