Completing my HSC in 2008 I entered the workforce as an apprentice carpenter, after a short period of time I joined my fathers (Hardy) established business Mr Pool Man (formerly Waterwise Pool Services).In 2011 we opened a retail store, and after a slow winter Hardy saw an opportunity to sell equipment, parts and chemicals online. From there, our first product was listed to eBay in 2012 and www.mrpoolman.com.au was transformed to an online retailer in 2014.In between the daily operations, business development and all things eCommerce, I am a E1 Pool Certifier, Pool Technician and a qualified Pool Builder but have since paused these “service” lines of work to focus on scaling the digital channels of Mr Pool Man.I have been with Mr Pool Man for 15+ years now, and the past 6 years I have been co-leading an agile high energy team with my sister Natalie (yew).The learning curve has been exponential, with more mistakes than you can imagine, but this has aided in cementing our position as an industry leading retailer, providing a solution where pool owners can feel comfortable buying technical equipment online without setting foot into the known “$150+ per visit” local pool shop.As we continue to enjoy curating the best customer experience via our digital channels we are also quietly building “Water TechniX” to become a poolside cabana (household) DTC brand for the proud Aussie #Poolster!Google Mr Pool Man to check the rest.As a people person, I am no bullshit, approachable and passionate about all things business and I enjoy expanding my network with other like minded people across all industries.Day to day I’m powered by stock turns, product development, profit margins and techno 🇩🇪
