As the Lead Business Partner, I play a key leadership role between the central IT division and all Faculties at UNSW. Specifically, I am responsible for the Faculty of Medicine & Health, which extends across all clinical, rural and hospitals sites. This is also a key leadership role within central IT, working closely with stakeholders to understand their IT requirements. I act as a champion for the Faculty/Domains at technology forums, as well as through the process of technology prioritisation.Additionally, I lead a team of Business Partners supporting all faculties at UNSW Sydney from an IT perspective.

UNSW IT is part of UNSW’s Finance and Operations Division and provides reliable, cost effective and state of the art IT services. In recent years UNSW IT has implemented a Shared Service capability moving away from a complete federated model of individual IT units operating within Faculties and Divisions. UNSW IT is now entering its next phase of evolution with another paradigm shift to position itself as a strategic partner within the University. As the Technology Engagement Partner I own specific business relationships and works together with divisional and faculty stakeholders in identifying business problems, defining potential solutions, assessing viability and generating the pipeline of project work.

My role of the Project Officer is to support, advise and assist key staff of the Vice-President, Campus Life and Community Engagement in the planning, implementation and reporting on wide range of projects in his portfolio.UNSW Campus Life office support services including but not limited to Venues and Events (venue hire and event services), Early Years (Early Education and Childcare services), the UNSW Health Service, the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre, UNSW Global, UNSW Press, Arc (student organisation) Safety and Sustainability and UNSW Student Accommodation.UNSW Australia values innovation, and initiative and seeking new ways of collaboration and creation which is an important part of my work. This position supports the General Manager of Residential Communities at UNSW Australia. Deliver strategic priorities around student accommodation and student life experience. Part of the University Services Division, UNSW Residential Office delivers high level of customer service in a safe and secure accommodation for almost 2000 students. I was offered to be part of the new team and launch of a brand new accommodation for 1000 students in 2014. Part of my duties include managing conference accommodation, catering, marketing and other back office operations.

Part of the University Services Division, Campus Life delivers strategic support and assistance to the Directors and General Managers of the revenue generating business units and UNSW community support services including but not limited to Venues and Events, Early Years (Early Education and Childcare services), the Health Service, the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre, and UNSW’s Residential Communities. The position also oversees the management and preservation of the University’s Art Collection, a significant cultural and fiscal asset.The Executive Officer position at Campus Life leads and manages all administrative functions within the Unit including supporting the relevant business units with preparing reports, business plans and financial analysis.The position has a number of challenges, broadly those associated with the working in a large complex organisation of 50,000 students and 6,000 staff; but around the expectation to help maximise commercial returns to University Services, whilst also meeting the academic requirements and changing strategic priorities of the University. Strategic and operational planning will have to recognise occasional conflicts.

Venues and Events is the business unit which supports teaching space, commercial conference activities, lectures and a range of live performing arts events. Working in a fast-paced professional team environment, this role provides administrative support to the Venues and Events office including the management of internal and external accounts, operation of the University’s financial system including preparing reports and financial analysis.

RAVAK is one of the biggest producers of sanitary equipment in Eastern Europe.I worked for this company as a Sales Representative for two years, and latter I was promoted to Marketing Coordinator for RAVAK branches for three years.As a Sales Representatives, my main responsibility was to oversee the Moravia Region with approximately 150 clients, and a turnover 7.5 m AUD. In my second position I provided support to other RAVAK branches in Central Europe (Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine and London), areas that I regularly visited and I still maintain contact. This position also allowed me to cooperate and work closely on quality improvements and marketing plans for the company.
