Administration, teaching and research in the Werklund School of Agriculture Technology at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology. Administrative duties included participating on hiring committees for faculty and executives (VPs and CFOs) and the bargaining team. I was also the Chair of the Program Curriculum Committee for the Bachelor of Digital Agriculture program. Teaching duties included course delivery (in applied research, business and entrepreneurship, decision-making, international marketing and production economics). In addition to teaching, I created course outlines (syllabi) for 16 new college-level courses and participated in developing and promoting three new full-time degrees in agriculture technology. My research focused on the behavioural dimensions around agriculture technology adoption. I was invited to speak at the University of British Columbia (Jan 2023) and Kansas State University (May 2023), and I was the Keynote speaker at the G20 Summit in India (Aug 2023). My research was also featured in the national farm press and media.

My role was to provide clients with information on properties, labour market analytics, and the cost of doing business. In this role, I managed the data assets including the Edmonton Global CRM and several proprietary databases, including Bloomberg, D&B Hoovers, EMSI, fDi-Markets, Pitchbook, Salesforce and Zoomprospector. I also blogged on topics related to the labour market, business conditions and investment flows.

In April and May of 2020, I was the Acting Vice President for Trade & Investment. It was a privilege leading a diverse team of business professionals. While we practiced physical distancing to flatten the curve, we engaged with our stakeholders via online meetings and presentations. Part of the duties included also putting the final strokes on our internal CRM-business process, submit grant applications and prepare reports to funders.
