I am specialised in Offshore Patrol Vessels, High Speed Craft and working vessels.Currently employed by Cantiere Navale Vittoria (Italy), my position encompasses both the role of Project Engineer overseeing the build of a 75m Offshore Patrol Vessel and Technical Sales Supervisor for all new tenders.With a degree in nautical engineering (BA in Italy), naval architecture (MA in France), and a Diploma as a Surveyor of Yacht&Small Craft (UK), my professional background includes 4 years experience as a Naval Architect at Icarus Marine, Cape Town, where I executed the general design and all systems of a High Speed Craft 54 m Offshore Patrol Vessel and numerous other working vessels. Other experience in my more than 10 years working on the field includes positions as a qualified Surveyor, a project manager in niche shipyards, and practical experience as both captain and director of works on a Jongert 24m sailing yacht.My professional experience has allowed me to develop excellent interpersonal and management skills, and strengthen my capacity for strategic planning and problem solving. I work well under pressure and am an active participant in all phases of the design, planning and coordination processes, as well as in the practical implementation of operations systems.I am fluent in Italian, English and French, and have both Italian Citizenship and South African permanent residency.
