I'm Tomás Pedro Maunde, an entrepreneur with experience in areas such as IT, Project Management, Business and Finance. I have a degree in Accounting, Tax and Auditing from the Instituto Superior de Gestão, Administração e Educação, where I learn about accounting and financial processes. I also specialized in Blockchain Technology at the University of California, Irvine, where I developed skills in decentralized applications (DApps) and cryptocurrencies.I am currently in charge of the technology department at SMP, SA, a Mozambican holding company that operates in various sectors. In this role, I coordinate the department's day-to-day activities, ensuring the operation and security of the network infrastructure, communications and fire prevention systems. I also take part in implementing new projects and maintaining the department's calendar. At the same time, I am the founder of LA Sync Group, a startup offering blockchain and fintech solutions. In this position, I lead the development of blockchain applications, using Solidity, Python, JS, HTML and CSS languages, and I review code and monitor the cryptoasset and NFT market.In my spare time, I like to learn more about business intelligence (I recently took a Qlik Sense Data Modeling & Visualization course and became Qlik Sense certified) and IoT. I'm also looking to improve my knowledge of management, as I believe it's a crucial factor in my career.
