Cosentino Group is a global, Spanish, company that produces and distributes high value innovative surfaces for the world of design and architecture. In United States it has 39 distribution centres with around 1M sq. ft. in total and 5 city showrooms.As part of the Expansion division I provided on site owner’s representation and construction management for the distribution centres in Union City and Hawaii and the city showrooms in Montreal and San Francisco. My responsibilities as project manager was to work with our design team, sales force for contractor´s selection. Responsible to comply with schedule and construction budget as well as permitting, inspections, certificate of occupancy procurement, and close out.

Successfully led four major projects for HSBC Bank Brazil Corporate Real Estate Division. The CSU Project was a roll-out of 75 concept branches, achieving a new worldwide project delivery record and finishing 15% under budgeted cost. The Lightouch Project was a USD $38 million project roll-out of 20 branches, completing capital improvements across the country and generating 20% savings. There was also a large Branch relocation project that consisted of relocating 8 branches from site search to final opening.

Managed multiple projects and programs in the construction and site optimization space throughout Brazil. The Freedom Project was a significant project for HSBC that included initiating and planning for the space optimization of 54 branches and offices across Brazil. The Sao Paulo Pilot Branches encompassed directing the construction of 8 new concept branches throughout Brazil. The CSU Pilot Branches Project consisted of reformatting 60 branches, including sourcing and execution of 18 of the branches. Finally was a USD $20 million project consisting of refurbishing the office spaces in corporate buildings; affecting approximately 3,800 employee and 340 projects in 18 months.

As Project Director, I coordinated, planned, and directed public education projects throughout Spain including a High School at Cabrils (Barcelona) in 2012, San Cugat Funeral in Barcelona in 2012, Cemetery of Tolosa, San Sabastian in 2011, CEIP Els Allocs School (K-12) in 2010, CEIP Can Oriol School (K-12) also in 2009 and CEIP Lola Anglada School (K-12) in 2008.

Effectively contributed to residential, public housing, educational, and urban planning responsibilities by coordinating project team for various types of architectural and urban projects. Managed the design development and construction documents for 9 significant urban planning, educational and residential projects.

Coordinated retail projects for franchise companies, from conceptualization through construction until implementation of the brand. Standardized image in each store by the coordination of graphic design, logotypes, colors and visual merchandising. Implemented design of 32 franchise store and developed project budgets and schedules based on identifying scope of work while managing change orders.
