In preparation for the digital future, we helped ANWB’s CIO and the business line IT directors in selecting and detailing strategic IT initiatives for collective development. This resulted in a list of IT initiatives deemed necessary for the realisation of the ANWB business strategy that ANWB IT will develop further.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

We helped LeasePlan's CTO with three assignments:• Designed the Next Generation Digital Architecture (NGDA) as part of the movement towards a digital service integrator, with a more modular IT landscape. The transition towards NGDA is still going.• Designed and implemented a new operating model for contract life cycle management (vendor management). This resulted in the first quarter of 2020 in over 2 Mio Euro of savings. Additionally, we set up the framework for Third Party Risk Management to provide a clear structure and overview of all available risk assessments, have clear responsibilities between the departments, and secure compliance with third parties.• Constructed the financial business case for LeasePlan’s Cloud Transformation, aiding management in strategic decision making for the datacenter workloads.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

In the transition from SAP to Ymere’s new ERP system Tobias AX, I was responsible for the technical realization of all bespoke external interfaces. The big bang implementation in January 2019 was a success with no delays and all interfaces working properly.

Novius helps organisations perform and excel in dynamic market conditions. It develops solid strategies and innovative business solutions in close collaboration with its customers, often using IT. It then ensures successful implementation of its advice by staying on board. That way, it creates solutions that are widely supported and therefore extra powerful.

Den Haag

In collaboration with the CTO (ACE) and CEO (Novius), we developed the overall ACE strategy process to facilitate and aid them to come to joint European strategic decisions by offering a clear structure, clarity and insights. The process, among others, focusses on the widespread adoption of European initiatives.

Enschede

Within the architecture team, I modeled current and target architectures (IST and SOLL) for the domains of Eduction, Educational Logistics and Business Management. These provided insight into the current and desired situation regarding inefficiencies, needed changes, insufficient IT support or lifecycle issues (applications). The target architectures where used to facilitate the open conversation about the organization's future with the business.

Doetinchem

Based on recent (digital) developments, I developed the Information Strategy for the Dutch Water Authority. This helped to increase the focus around information systems and align internal and external developments while considering the many legal obligations they face. The I-Strategy provides insight into the desired situation and the changes needed to get there, that were documented in a roadmap.

Parijs

I helped EPEX SPOT gain insight into the possible impact of all (digital) developments they face in the near future due to competition and changing regulations and translated this into what this means for them as an organization. As a result of the extensive process, a revolutionary vision was presented towards the Board of Directors that was received with full conviction. This vision encompasses a huge change for the company to maintain its competitive position in the future (displaying opportunities and threats) and implement large efficiency gains along the way.

I helped and guided the construction of Business Transformation Plans for each of the eight domains within TenneT. The plans translate TenneT’s strategy to an IT-focused change portfolio with a clear prioritisation and distinction between short and long term planning. It supports the organisation in creating ‘One TenneT’ by implementing changes that contribute to a coherence in products, processes, IT harmonisation, the organisation of regulatory regimes and culture.

Purmerend

As part of the team to help change the focus of the board and management from internal to customer oriented, I guided employees in the construction of the generic process for the establishment of a new business unit ‘Front Office’. In addition, I was responsible for the group process and the development of the content, gathered information and created insights about the customer touchpoints and journey, and the available channels. Together with the group members, we collectively set up user and business requirements.
