I have a PhD in Polymer Physics. In July 2011 I started my own company called TK Consulting. Currently I have a contract with British Petroleum (BP). I work on the project concerning complex mixtures present in the oil extraction process. During my fellowship at the University of Warwick my biggest achievement was to come up with an algorithm to measure the current state of the oil lines in BP oil fields. The method to solve this technological problem is currently being patented by BP. While at Warwick I also created a programming course in which I taught chemistry PhD students how to write programs to analyze data and obtained a prestigious and competitive Science City fellowship.My PhD research at Tulane University (USA) was the first step towards full automated feedback control of polymerization reactions and it was recognized by the American Chemical Society with an Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research award in 2008. I can explain complex ideas to others and for my continuous teaching efforts I obtained the best teaching assistant award at Tulane University. I was also chosen by the faculty to guide struggling graduate students.I have published five first author publications in recognized scientific journals. I am interested in languages. I speak fluent Polish and English. I can communicate in German, French and Italian, and I am also learning Spanish and Chinese.
