To provide the primary professional technical input to the manufacturing unit. This will involve the quality assurance technical function, maintaining a programme of planned, systematic audits to encourage continuous improvement in all aspects of product safety and product quality. To ensure that industry best practice techniques are used to meet customer and company requirements. Contributing a pro-active technical perspective and delivering a programme which continuously improves the function and challenges current practices and procedures.Key responsibilities:• Conduct appropriate audit program to verify conformance to documented procedures, CCPs and GMP• Record and investigate any non-conformances. Report specific details to the relevant operational management and agree the necessary corrective actions, timescales and responsibilities.• Conduct formal review of corrective action status with immediate line manager.• Undertake planned audits to ensure HACCP, Hygiene, GMP, Training and System compliance is maintained. • Collect Key Performance Indicator data with a view to developing statistical. Measurement of business performance.• To ensure that operational standards within the manufacturing unit meet the requirements of both BRC and PPC at all times• Conduct investigation and ensure appropriate corrective action in the event of customer complaints.• Provide advice and guidance when quality standards fail and take decisions on disposal or rework as necessary• Help with the development of the quality assurance team to maximise their individual contributions to the business• To report any out of specification results to the QA Manager and Technical Manager• To quarantine products/equipment as necessary and take the necessary follow up action.• Request assistance from the QA Manager where appropriate to ensure all daily tasks are conducted to the requirements

My daily duties including quality control of manufacture products control of CCP, environmental swabbing and conducting Taste Panels. As a part of Technical team I can authorise concession and issuing internal and external non-conformances. As a part of my job I am responsible also for conducting monthly, 3 monthly and 6 monthly internal auditing based on BRC and our customer requirement. As my individual project I carry out Microbiological risk assessment for finish products and WIP components.

My duties included coordination, and control Oven and Batching team, control GMP, HACCP, unfolding shift reports and Stock Take Audit. Over a period of several months alone driving a night shift where I had demonstrated the ability to make decisions under time pressure, without the presence of the manager.
