As a logistics developer I focus on improving the functionality of Byggmax' external warehouses and the co-operation with freight forwarders, including:* Creating a model for transfer pricing* Updating the internal pricing in order to offer Byggmax a cost-efficient warehousing solution and to make sure that Byggmax' internal logistics company makes a profit at a desired level* Organizing 3PL tenders* Implementing new warehouses and setting up SOPs* Finding new solutions to create a more efficient supply chain* Setting up new functions like cross-docking, click and collect, home deliveries and the like* Maintaining data and templates in the transport administration system in order to make transport bookings as easy and correct as possible* Following up and controlling 3PL and freight expenses* Finding and solving deviations regarding IT, communications, SOPs and operations at Byggmax' external warehouses and freight forwarders* Reducing emission levels from Byggmax' transportsIn general, the objective is to give the best possible support to Byggmax' stores in terms of on-time error-free deliveries, while lowering the costs for these services.

As the Acting Head of Logistics at Byggmax I had the overall responsibility for the company's logistics subsidiary with regards to operations as well as the financial result. My responsibilities included the following among other things:* Presenting and following up on KPIs* Reporting to the management team* Developing and improving operations* Setting up a 900 MSEK budget * Setting up a 5-year business plan* Organizing several 3PL tenders* Implementing new external warehousesDuring this period I improved my ability to have a bird's eye view on the entire supply chain and all the processes included.

My role as a purchasing analyst was to support strategic purchasers with a decision-making basis including: * Demand forecasts* Analysis of profitability of various articles* Finding deviations in article data* Participating in negotiations with current and future suppliersOverall, the aim was to help finding the best purchasing solutions within each and every product category.

The main focus of my employment was procurement in general (responsible for material supply and supplier management) and optimization of inventory levels and implementation of VMI solutions in general. This led to a reduction of tied up capital and reduced inventory turns. Other scopes included improvement projects regarding supply chain management, revising internal routines as well as developing supplier relationships.I also partook in a global SAP implementation project at Maquet with VMI and MM module as areas of expertise.
