My story started 20 years ago when I moved from Poland to the UK ✈️ Upon my arrival, I quickly realised that none of the mainstream UK brands were marketing their products or services in a way that resonated with me. Therefore, I found myself exclusively shopping at Polish stores, as theirs was the only marketing I could relate to. Conversations with others confirmed that I was not alone in this sentiment. Shockingly, it turns out that only 1 in 5 UK companies actively engage with consumers from ethnic minority backgrounds. This highlighted a significant gap in the market and in the key information reaching ethnic communities. So, after learning this, I set out on a mission to drive change and enhance the marketing strategies directed at diverse communities, which led to the creation of GottaBe! And over the past 16+ years, I have proudly seen my business grow. We've won multiple industry awards, expanded into three offices, and worked with some of the UK's biggest brands, including the likes of Specsavers, Norton, Dominos, Western Union, Uber, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, NHS, and many more! Alongside my responsibilities as the Founder and Managing Director of GottaBe!, I am also: - Managing Director and Editor of Magazyn PL, an award-winning Polish news portal aimed at the Polish community in Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, and West Sussex. - A proud alumnus of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses UK. - An Associate Lecturer at the Solent University - A CIM (MCIM) member – dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth.
