A strategic and forward-thinking manager and ICT expert with over 20 years of business practice in IT and Telecommunications.His areas of expertise include technology and business transformation, cybersecurity, cloud computing, ICT services and complex, transversal solution implementations. He was responsible for and developed the above mentioned areas in ABB, PTK Centertel, Telekomunikacja Polska and Orange Polska.He successfully transformed his organisation into profit generating service departments - a partner for business.He led to the creation of and managed the East European Cloud Services Centre for Orange that handled over 33% of the Group’s cloud demand.He built and developed one of the best cybersecurity organisations in Poland and in the Orange Group that effectively protects from cyber threats Orange Polska, its customers, numerous Orange Group entities from Europe and Africa, and B2B corporate customers based in Poland.He is the Silesian University of Technology graduate. He earned his MBA from the French Institute of Management (IFG) in 2002, and in 2009 he completed the Advanced Management Program at the University of Navarra IESE Business School. In 2010 he was awarded the CIO of the Year title by IDG Polska, and has been on the jury for this competition since. In 2014 the CIO Club has honoured him with the Lion of the CIO Club title for his contribution to the CIO community. In 2016 he was named Digital Leader of the Year by CIONET Polska, and became one of the finalists of the European CIO of the Year in 2017. Winner of the Royal Jack award for the best speaker of the 20th edition of PLNOG (Polish Network Operators Group).
