The topic of the Ph.D. thesis: "High Entropy Alloys with improved mechanical properties."Responsibilities:• Working on the structure and mechanical properties of High Entropy Alloys (HEAs) produced by powder metallurgy (mechanical alloying + hot-press sintering).• Developing new compositions of HEAs (Al-Cr-Fe-Mn-Mo family).• Performing mechanical alloying and sintering.• Investigating the phase formation during mechanical alloying by XRD, SEM-EDS, TEM-EDS, DSC. • Studying the phase formation during annealing and sintering of powder by XRD, SEM-EDS, TEM-EDS, EBSD.• Optimizing the conditions of mechanical alloying and sintering.• Evaluating mechanical properties by microhardness measurements and compression tests.• Collaborating with the Ph.D. student working on HEA high-performance coatings.

The project with collaboration and financed by Aubert&Duval company.The topic of Master thesis: "High entropy alloys for high-temperature applications."Responsibilities:• Studied high entropy superalloys for high-temperature applications. • Investigated the phase composition of HEAs by Thermo-Calc simulation (TCNI8, TCHEA1 databases)• Characterized structure/microstructure of sample as-cast and as-forged samples by SEM+EDS, TEM, XRD. • Tested mechanical properties by microhardness tests and compression tests in the temperature range room temperature to 1000°C.
