As the Director of DARIAH ERIC, I oversee the strategic direction and operations of a European research infrastructure consortium which connects and supports thousands of researchers and institutions across 22 countries. With more than 25 years of experience in the field of digital humanities, I have a strong track record of developing and managing innovative projects, partnerships, and platforms that enhance the creation, access, and dissemination of digital research data and resources.I have degrees from Harvard, Princeton and Trinity College Dublin. My core areas of expertise include historical and electronic lexicography, data modeling, Text Encoding Initiative (TEI), digital editions and research infrastructures. I am also the Director of the Belgrade Center for Digital Humanities, a leading regional hub for digital humanities education, research, and outreach. My mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge exchange among the scholarly communities in Europe and beyond.
