Paint Technician
CurrentI have a lot to thank Seagull's Reuse for, having taken me on a voluntary placement. They offered me part-time employment to support me and my studies, whilst I completed my degree. It is a genuinely brilliant work-place, which is always an open, welcoming and friendly place to visit for all. Seagull's Reuse prevents hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste paint going to landfill every year, working in conjunction with Leeds City Council. My roles here are varied and include the collection, processing and sorting of the paint which Seagull's recycles. Additionally, my job includes the need for organisation, leadership skills, and people-orientated attitudes. It is a role which requires exceptional levels of cohesion throughout the team, as it is a physical, multi-faceted, and complex operation. This demonstrates the necessity for time-management, communication skills and a strong work ethic.
