Tom’s career includes more than 25 years of financial and technology consulting experience. The majority of this experience is in implementing large scale finance/accounting, budgeting/planning and supply chain systems across a wide variety of industries for both commercial and public sector customers. His career includes progressively challenging IT positions across both ERP and Software-as-a-Service markets. He has a strong technical background combined with a deep background in growing and leading IT organizations through periods of significant change, evolution of service offerings, and business and staff development.Tom founded and managed a firm that specialized in deployment and implementation of Workday and PeopleSoft applications across a broad range of industries including financial services, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, and manufacturing. In this role, Tom was responsible for business operations, client and account management, staff management, business development, and project management for all client sectors.Before starting his own firm, Tom spent several years with Ernst and Young and Accenture where he held leadership roles in their PeopleSoft practices. He was also Associate Vice President of Corporate Financial Systems for The Carlyle Group where he managed the implementation of multiple financial and planning systems prior to their initial public offering.Tom started his career as a member of the Audit Practice at KPMG and in the corporate accounting department at Marriott. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant.
