I manage the development of all patient information at Anthony Nolan, the UK charity supporting anyone who needs a stem cell transplant to treat blood cancer or a blood disorder.I collaborate with authors, designers, patients, relatives and healthcare professionals on every information resource we produce. Anthony Nolan's patient information includes over 100 webpages and 25 booklets plus other accessible formats including a podcast, audiobook and our My Transplant Tracker app.I ensure all our health information meets the PiF TICK, the UK-wide quality mark for trusted health information. Led by the Patient Information Forum, the accreditation process includes ongoing review and annual audit. I also sit on the Patient Information Forum Advisory Group.I'm a member of our Helpline team, providing information and emotional support to stem cell transplant patients and family members.I line manage three of my colleagues in the Patient Services team.I'm also the manager of Team Anthony Nolan at the British Transplant Games, taking 30 stem cell transplant patients and their families to this annual four-day sporting event.

I managed the production of all health information published by Mind, the UK's best known mental health charity.Our extensive publishing schedule covers 90 mental health topics online and in print - from stress to depression to specific diagnoses, drugs information and more: mind.org.uk/information-supportI worked with authors, designers, external and internal clients at all levels, and managed our extensive user testing activity, to ensure people with lived experience of mental health issues are at the heart of Mind's information.I also ensured our output met the Information Standard, NHS England's kitemark scheme for trustworthy health information.

I developed and executed the editorial strategy for Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s largest sexual health and HIV charity. My team either wrote or edited every Terrence Higgins Trust publication.I managed its production schedule of publications and web content, working on booklets, factsheets, campaign materials and web pages with external and internal clients at all levels.I ensured our output met the Information Standard, the NHS-backed kitemark scheme for trustworthy health information.I line managed the charity's Marketing Manager, National Social Marketing Manager and Editor.

I taught its National Council for the Training of Journalists courses. I planned, managed and led its newspaper journalism course for post-A Level students.

I edited, commissioned and wrote for this charity’s magazine, manned its press office and managed its subscriber database.
