Took over three troubled projects, quickly identified key stakeholder goals, addressed customer frustrations, and grew end-user functionality within the first months of each troubled project.KEY RESULTS:* Project Manager for 3 years, 8 person CDC Saudi Arabia National Guard (SANG) project developing open source, multi-language (English-Arabic) Healthcare Safety Network (HSN), National Notifiable Disease (NND), and Environmental Occupational Disease Registry System (EORDS) applications. Designed the multi-language database structures as data architect. Seven major software releases in 3 years. Code systems used: ICD-9, ICD-10, SNOMED.* Program Manager for the 19 month, 14 person, $3.6M Firm Fixed Price Public Health Lab Interoperability Solutions and Solution Architecture (PHLISSA) project. Performed project recovery, increased customer satisfaction from "5" to "9" in 4 months. Electronic Test Orders and Results (ETOR) project spanned five organizations including CDC/OSELS, CDC/OID, and APHL. The open source Public Health Information eXchange (PHIX) hub application provided ELR HL7 2.3.1 into 2.5.1 message transformations* Project Manager for 10 person PHIN-MS (Messaging System) development and product support teams. Grew customer installed base from 30 to 700 public health organizations in five years. Coordinated efforts to build prototype for new web-services based secure, reliable messaging application (PHIN-SRM).* Lead six-person project team creating a “First Responder” Resource Tracking System for the CDC Director’s Emergency Operations Center (DEOC) coordinating efforts in OSELS, COTPR, MISO, and DEOC.
