We ran a number of initiatives, including impact accelerator programs, support for impact investment, and free mentoring sessions with social entrepreneurs all over the world. We ran a global community of 1400+ social entrepreneurs, and I personally worked with over 750 social entrepreneurs 1-on-1 to find an idea, launch their business and grow.

I co-founded a web development agency focused on helping SMEs to grow by redesigning all parts of their digital systems, with their website as the central piece. Each website was completely bespoke, and our design and development mainly focused around Wordpress, designing custom themes, plugins, and some PHP development.--HelloGrowth was a digital marketing agency specialising in web development. With all the websites we developed, we had two goals:- To build in place smarter technology to automate metrics tracking, admin, marketing and ultimately, growth (software integrations, CRMs, smart lead capture, etc.)- To combine the initial build with business mentoring over time, to not only help the business owner understand how to maintain and build on their own website, but to help them GROW their business using digital marketing and inbound traffic. Corkscrew is an international youth travel programme and business startup incubator. Thanks to EU funding, we provided fully-funded alternative internships focused on teaching entrepreneurship to international students and providing free business support to social enterprises and charities. Within 3 years, we had expanded the programme into 3 countries and accessed over €5Mil of funding to deliver training programs to 1000s of students across Europe.

A few years after starting work full time as a freelance designer, I discovered social entrepreneurship and started my first social enterprise - an online platform to promote, fund and empower London's community events to reach a wider audience.Gather Hackney is a social events network run by the community, for the community. It's an online tool that empowers Hackney residents to discover and create events in their local area, because local activity equals local community.Gather Hackney tries to answer the question of how to create community using technology. Starting from this point, and using research, analysis and design, the complete social events platform was crafted. It's usability is designed to be as simple as possible for quick user growth and was developed to be business ready. A basic model of the website was produced and the company went through stages of applying for funding based on a 'social enterprise' structure.

A few main clients include Cambridge University, University of the Arts London, The FA with Surrey County & Chelsea FC. The work spans establishing brand identities, editorial layouts, animation, website design, print design and packaging design. I also had my work exhibited around the world, both in the MMA, Mexico and at the V&A, London.

I spent six weeks at Comic Relief's headquarters in Vauxhall, London, working directly on their 2013 Red Nose Day campaign, specifically tackling how to expand the campaign to target and engage with the 16-25 year old market. The role included working in a team of two throughout to brainstorm and test any potential ideas for the upcoming national event. Our best ideas were presented back, along with how they could be implemented, and one was rolled out on a national scale in early 2013.

During my time here, I was an active member in assembling presentations, constructing brand identities, working with brand campaigns, designing brochures, posters & logos and video editing, amongst other skills. I was lucky enough to work with some large clients, including Barclays, RBS, DIAGEO, the Knightsbridge Estate and the 9/11 Project London for an exclusive auction event at Claridge's. The clients were mainly medium-large sized companies and with both national and international reaches.I was also lucky enough to have my artwork featured in the October issue of Blueprint Magazine.
