As an R&D Manager for the leading Australian stair manufacturer with over 100 years of history, I design and develop systems and products to support the business. From software to manufacturing and systems, my role involves creating solutions that enhance operations and streamline processes across the business.

We make wall furniture. We aim to have a piece that will look great in every space of every Australian home. We are a design and brand lead business that focus on making great pieces to last generations.

Retail is more competitive then it has ever been. Active Display work tirelessly to keep themselves at the front of the field. The design department is strong and the manufacturing is on site. The vast knowledge on hand from Active's giant workforce has allowed me to grow as a designer and increased my materials library and understanding of manufacturing techniques. At the end of the day I help Active create innovative cost effective retail displays that stand out from the competitors.

After graduating from the Bachelor of Industrial Design at RMIT I was asked to return as a sessional lecturer. I taught Computer-Aided Design to first and second-year students in the schools of Design and Engineering. It was an honour to be asked to take these classes and a treat to challenge and expand both my SolidWorks and communication skills.

With Chijoff+Co every client is something new. In my time with the studio we have developed, kids toys, high end audio, and specialized surgical equipment. As a studio we were always able to work closely with our clients. We value their input in the design process and see them as part of the team. This has taught me to always take the positives in any idea, I have seen how collaborative ideas flourish and bring the project to the next level.What I bring to the team are my own values and experiences. As a designer it is my job to let my thoughts out. As a team we will discuss the potential for a project from our own angles, however when its crunch time, I can collate the best the team has discussed and translate it into action to create the best possible design outcome for our client.
