Tom currently serves as a senior consultant, for Strategic Consulting Partners, a woman and minority-owned small business in Central Pennsylvania. He works with clients in the private and public sector to improve operational efficiency and improving workforce learning through varied initiatives. Priorly, he was the Learning and Development Manager for Saks OFF 5th, a premier off-cost luxury retailer with their primary fulfillment center in Pottsville, PA. Tom recently has served as a manufacturing technologies classroom instructor. In this regard, he developed implemented and processed training programs for AC/DC and motor control systems training. Priot to that, he was director of workforce training. He oversaw workforce training programs for areas in and around the Lehigh Valley including Allentown, Bethlehem, and Nazareth, PA. His primary focus was on positive workplace development, including management, communication, and interpersonal skills in the workplace. Tom is an approved Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and Everything DiSC facilitator. His program areas include project management, business analysis, talent management, and coaching and team development. Before joining Lehigh Carbon Community College, Tom worked for Penn State University in their office of continuing and distance education. Tom also worked for Shippensburg University as a regional strategic consultant in the statewide Communities That Care Juvenile delinquency prevention initiative. Tom has a Master’s of Education Degree in Training and Development from Penn State University. His areas of focus include adult learning, organizational development, instructional design, and program evaluation. In his spare time he enjoys model railroading, photography, and spending time with his wife, Karen, and sons Benjamin and Nathaniel
