Served as the Vice President of Operations and Healthy Living where I was responsible for oversight of our wellness operations and programs, chronic disease prevention programs and our medical/healthcare partnerships. While at the YMCA of Florida's First Coast, I have provided operational oversight for multiple centers in the Association with revenues exceeding $10 million. Responsibilities include financial management, staff training, operations, membership and sales growth strategies, fundraising and board development. Hired in July 2015 as a Vice President of Operations. Promoted in October 2017 to the Vice President of Healthy Living and Operations position. Led the transition team and opened the new 72,000 sq.ft. Winston YMCA in August 2016. Served as the Project Manager and opened the YMCA at Flagler Health Village in 2019, the YMCA at Wildlight and the YMCA at Nocatee in 2020. Served as the Project Manager of the new FIS Headquarters wellness center which opened October 2022.Lead negotiator on third party membership contracts for the Association; revenues increased over $1,000,000 between 2018 and 2023. Secured over $200,000 in grant funding in 2023 to implement health intervention programs in underserved areas to improve community health. Led the Community Integrated Health Strategy for the Association between 2017-2023.

Responsible for a 160,000 square foot multi-purpose medical fitness center and medical office building with an overall operating budget nearly $5 million. Provide leadership to 9 senior managers and 170 employees. Currently serve as the Central Region Chairperson for the Medical Fitness Association. Top accomplishments have included:• Center has achieved a positive operating margin over $2.5 million during the last ten years. • Created a positive culture with high employee satisfaction and low turnover among direct reports. • Successfully negotiated and acquired the clubs first corporate fitness center management contract creating a new business opportunity, marketing exposure and additional revenue.• Added a wellness department to provide health education and programs for people and developed a medically referred exercise program generating hundreds of new members.• Developed and implemented an employee wellness program using incentives to promote a healthy culture. • Hired as a project consultant for the opening of a new senior wellness center.

Responsible for the day to day operations of a 54,000 square foot hospital owned fitness center. During my time there, I assisted in increasing membership to a record 4,747 people. Also, we increased revenue 17% over two years and increased our operating margin 37% during this period.

Managed a 70,000 square foot multi-purpose athletic facility as an amenity for a large downtown office complex. Provided turnaround operational leadership to increase membership and net income. Net income increased 120% over a four year period. Persuaded ownership group to invest nearly $200,000 in capital improvements to the facility.
