I have extensive experience in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and innovation consulting. My strength lies in adopting a scrappy entrepreneurial mindset that not only fuels growth for what I’m working on at the time, but also brings a broad set skills and knowledge that I can carry forward to my next projects and ventures.My career spans several successful investments at Symphony Alpha Ventures as a managing director, where I led the sourcing, due diligence, and ongoing support for several startup investments in healthcare and enterprise SaaS. I have played an active role as founder, operator, or investor in several successful startups, resulting in eight M&A transactions.As co-founder and lead investor at Encube.ai, I played a hands-on role in guiding the company’s strategy and designing the UX strategy and user interfaces. Encube.ai was acquired by a venture-backed HR technology startup, Hitch Works, and then a year later I fully exited when the combined solution was acquired by ServiceNow. My current professional focus is the continual refinement of the customer discovery process for enhanced efficacy and efficiency. I am a firm believer in the unconventional view that all’s well that STARTS well. The later stages get all the glory, but successful venture building happens in the early days of thoughtful, disciplined exploration of a customer’s habits, preferences, and industry context.
