About Tom Chalker

I have created and developed innovative technologies in the distributed computing space. These have ranged from enterprise client/server solutions in the late 1990's with both thick and thin clients to interchangeable Cloud Computing components in 2010.I foresee a migration to cheap commodity computing in the next decade that mirrors the evolution of the electric power grid in the early 20th century. In that context, organizations that plan now to leverage that computing resource will be the financially strongest players.
