Freelance contract for the wonderful people at Tentacle Zone / Payload Studios, who run cool initiatives to support indie devs.Most of my work for TZ involved finding and approaching games industry speakers for the weekly resident virtual talks. I hosted the talks, briefed the speakers and planned the content for the year.I also wrote regular blog posts.

I worked on W.A.S.D 2023 and London Developer Conference - a B2B event taking place as part of W.A.S.D. I wrote copy for the LDC social media channels (Twitter and Instagram) and blog posts for the LDC website.

Gamer Network was acquired by Reed Exhibitions in 2018. The company was rebranded under the ReedPop banner and I was promoted to Head of Content. - Curated and delivered over 100 speaker sessions per event. - My work helped attract over 70,000 visitors to EGX in 2019, up from 4,000 in 2008.- I owned and developed content for EGX and EGX Rezzed. - Wrote.

Wrote copy for different formats including press releases, blog posts, event show guides, social media channels, website content and email marketing. Project managed EGX & EGX Rezzed features from conception to delivery. Curated speaker schedules and delivered over 100 speaker sessions per event.

I joined Gamer Network at an exciting time. The company was small (around 20 staff) but growing quickly. Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz were industry leading publications and the company had just launched Eurogamer Expo (eventually rebranded as EGX) in 2008. The small nature of the company meant that people working there wore many different hats and there.
