Simply Reliable Software provides desktop software for the custom A/V industry.SmartOffice Desktop is a FileMaker based software for use in managing proposals and project management.My focus during this time was training customers on how to use SmartOffice Desktop and working with management to further define the features and the software's flow. It became clear in 2012 the software, which was built on FileMaker Pro, was not scalable and in order to succeed the SmartOffice concept or solution would need to be moved to a cloud platform, simplified, with an entirely different business model.

Developed the sales structure and marketing for a company that provided Electrical, HVAC, Security, and Audio/Video Integration into a singular product presentation.Managed the day to day business from sales through delivery.Developed the training program to link pay scale to performance and knowledge. This program provides the capability to develop a novice into a well trained and competent installer in multiple disciplines within three years.

Created and Sold Three levels of integrated home packages to service multiple market segments which simplified both sales and installation.Developed the showroom layout to assist with the corporate storyboard which assisted in the suspect, prospect, client discovery process thereby speeding up the qualification process.Created a structured sales approach, proposal generation, and presentation system utilizing a systematic documentation process and repeatable system design which improved obtainable margins.Brought sales from $0 to $4MM at 45 % gross margin.

Created and marketed a home automation system including; lighting, HVAC, and audio/video distribution for the middle market.Developed the feature set, marketing, and branding for T.V.Net, and ActivLink.Directed an outsourced engineering staff and developed relationships with international manufacturers for use in parts sourcing.
