Managed accounting, treasury and lease portfolio management functions for a $125 million equipment finance company.• Analyzed company financial performance in order to provide insight and guidance to executive management peers for quarterly and annual strategic planning process.• Negotiated multiple debt structures, including revolvers, term loans, syndicated loan facilities and asset backed securitizations, while maintaining banking relationships for a $100 million debt portfolio.• Guided the wind down of 90% of the company’s lease portfolio during the 2008/2009 financial crises navigating various banking demands in order to maintain a good standing in the marketplace.• Initiated a search, and along with other executive management personnel, recruited a new business development leader that ultimately helped grow the company back from its 90% decline in leased assets.• Authored the financial review and forecast sections of an offering document which was prepared for the sale of the company, and helped evaluate buyers which ultimately led to the company being sold to a bank which recently has attained $1 billion in assets.• Led the integration of the company’s financial, accounting and portfolio management functions into the bank’s operations and financial reporting processes resulting in a smooth transition of the company into the bank’s operating and reporting procedures.• Built a new portfolio management process after the bank purchase which resulted in portfolio delinquency of less than 1.00%• Contributed as a member of the company’s credit committee adjudicating credit applications between $125 thousand and $250 thousand

• Designed and implemented financial processes for a new corporation as it grew from $30 million to $125 million in leased assets.o Coordinated the general ledger and consolidated financial statement preparation with the parent corporation for the company’s headquarters and five regional office locations resulting in timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.o Formulated processes for effectively determining daily cash flow needs and for projecting monthly, quarterly and annual cash requirements ultimately accommodating $80 million in new business originations.o Devised annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting systems for the company and its special purpose and foreign subsidiaries.o Created and systemized processes for a lease portfolio of 10,000 assets in 48 states which efficiently reported annual personal property statements, state and local sales/use tax returns and state and federal income tax returns.o Managed and hired a staff of five as the company grew in order to perform the necessary responsibilities associated with these processes.• Led the planning, development and implementation of the company’s first 50+ user local area computer network which resulted in significant operating efficiencies being achieved throughout the company.• Navigated the company through its first federal income tax audit and negotiated with the auditors in order to save the company $1 million in taxes.
