Oversight of GBM Resources' operations encompassing all P&L responsibilities, operational performance, safety and environmental management:- Drummond Basin (Queensland) operations at Twin Hills, Mt Coolon and Yandan, including exploration and resource drilling programs for gold, project planning and evaluation, regulatory approvals and tenement administration. JORC geological resource base growth to 1.84Moz, including 1.02Moz Measured and Indicated. Conceptual design, planning and evaluations for potential open pit and underground developments.- White Dam (South Australia) Gold/Copper Mine - gold and copper production through mining and heap leaching, CIL processing and the SART process. Mine design and project evaluation for site pit expansions. Review and evaluation of GBM-owned prospects and regional mines and projects for potential feeds for White Dam.

Advisory Board duties for the Production Centres within the Sustainable Minerals Institute, the W. H. Bryan Research Centre (BRC) and the Julius Kruttschnitt Research Centre (JKMRC). Focused on strategic advice to maximize the value of mining industry based research.

Led feasibility evaluations and planning of major projects, technical support to OceanaGold operations, governance and oversight of statutory reporting processes and technical and economic evaluation of external business development opportunities. Operations and projects covered in Australasia, South East Asia, and North, Central and South America, including OceanaGold's Macraes, Waihi, Haile and Didipio mines. Team capabilities include all key mining disciplines, and financial analysis.- Led development of 2020 Waihi District Study, which was externally published and set out the overall plan for four mining projects and supporting infrastructure, including processing and wastes management. Comprised 2.3Moz of gold production, 17 year life.- Oversaw 2020/21 Martha Underground Feasibility Study, to publish a 620koz Reserve for a key Waihi project. Key areas covered included mine design, application of battery/electric equipment and mine services. Project approved and implemented.- Led 2017 Haile Optimisation Study, comprising evaluations and planning to set out life of mine development plan for Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, USA. Scope included open pit expansions, process plant expansion, water management and wastes storage. 3Moz gold production over 17 years. Externally published, implemented.- Oversaw 2017 Horseshoe Underground Feasibility Study at the Haile Mine. Included all mine design, planning of supporting services, capital and operating cost estimation and integration into the Haile life of mine plan. Now in implementation phase.- Recruited and built the capabilities of the Project Development and Technical Services team, which included senior managers and technical specialists in mining engineering, metallurgical processing, geology and project management.

Responsible for progressing Strait's Tritton projects through feasibility evaluations to development, and for securing all required statutory licences and approvals. - Led successful feasibility study for 800ktpa Murrawombie underground project, The FS work also included an on-site drilling program, geotechnical evaluation, geological modelling, mine design, metallurgical testwork, process engineering, infrastructure planning and environmental approvals. - Completed feasibility study for 300ktpa Avoca Tankunderground project and coordinated submission of EIS.- Initiated and progressed feasibility study for 800kt Murrawombie open pit cutback project

Responsible for progressing Mungana Goldmines’ projects through formal evaluation stages and decision points, and for securing all required statutory licences and approvals. The aim, ultimately, was the development, construction and operation of viable projects.- Led scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies for Red Dome/Mungana gold project, targeting 4Mt of ore, 100,000 oz of gold and 15,000 tonnes of copper per year over a 10 year mine life. Project configuration included two open pits and two underground mines. Managed all technical evaluations and commercial evaluation. Oversaw the successful preparation of an EIS.- Led Tunkillia and Tarcoola gold projects in South Australia through successful scoping and prefeasibility studies to feasibility level evaluations. Managed Mining Lease applications and environmental approvals. Led stakeholder engagement process and government negotiations. Tarcoola has since progressed into development and operation. - Recruited and mentored the internal project development team, professionals with expertise in mining engineering, metallurgical processing and civil engineering.- Board briefings, company promotional presentations, acquisition due diligence.

Responsible for positioning Thiess’ mining business for growth through targeted business development projects, winning new, profitable contracts through successful prospect and proposal management, and providing technical support to Thiess Business Units in Australia and Asia.- Led a Global Mining Study in support of overseas expansion of Thiess’ mining business, resulting in the identification of overseas target market sectors and development of strategies for market entry and growth.- Led the development of the strategic plan for Thiess $1.7B mining business. The plan had a five year time frame and included initiatives to achieve 15% year on year growth- Led Thiess’ efforts to secure work in mining and infrastructure at the Olympic Dam Expansion project. Successes included award of pre-strip mining contract and shortlisting for four infrastructure packages covering mine facilities, water and rail. - Managed mine planning and technical support to Thiess’ Indonesian and Indian businesses- Led Thiess Services’ efforts to expand business into the mining industry; successes included securing facilities maintenance contracts at two large coal operations

Responsible for evaluation and initiation of new business opportunities, strategy development and management of large, cross-business unit proposals for Downer Mining. - Leading role in acquisitions, including Snowden Mining Consultants, a $25Mpa turnover multinational business, and a Hunter Valley workshop business. - Coordinated combined tenders for mining project developments involving multiple Downer business units- Leading role in development of business-wide five year strategy- Led the business development function across the Process Engineering Group
