Tom Corsillo began his professional career at Marino in 2005, and has since led and supported media and community relations campaigns for some of New York's most high-profile organizations, economic development initiatives and nonprofits. Today, Tom leads Marino’s award-winning public affairs practice, which is advancing major land use and public policy initiatives across the Tri-State area. Most recently, he led the campaigns behind the successful Innovation QNS, Halletts North and Throggs Neck rezonings, all approved in 2022. Together, the initiatives will create more than 5,000 new homes, with some 2,000 of them permanently affordable. He also conceived and led the acclaimed FixRx campaign on behalf of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSN), which in 2021 led to the enactment of the landmark Pharmacy Rescue Package that included what Politico called the nation's toughest crackdown on pharmacy benefit managers.Tom has advised a wide range of clients including Silverstein Properties, RXR Realty, the Community Preservation Corporation, LISC NY, the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY), the Business Council of New York State, the Brennan Center for Justice, the NYC Hospitality Alliance, the Westchester County Association, and the City of New Rochelle. He also has been instrumental in building Marino’s nonprofit practice, through his work on behalf of prestigious organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation, and DKMS (formerly Delete Blood Cancer).In addition to his work in traditional public relations, Tom produces The Housing Problem podcast, and has written speeches for former New York Yankees Captain Derek Jeter, New York Rangers legend Mark Messier, Olympic champion figure skater Sarah Hughes and Emmy award-winning journalist Soledad O'Brien. In 2011, he helped Morton's the Steakhouse strike social media gold when a response to a fan's tweet went viral and was featured on ABC World News Tonight as one of the top ten Twitter stories of the year.Tom has been honored by City & State magazine as one of New York's top political consultants (2023, 2022) and as a “rising star” (2018). He lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife, Katherine, and their sons, Nicholas and Jonathan, and is an elected member of the Fairfield Town Plan & Zoning Commission.
