Quality and performance of delivered system has led to over $20 million in follow-on work.• Consulting and design of a data-centric supply chain solution for a reusable transport packaging supplier. The solution involved integration of custom software with warehousing and transportation packages to provide a complete logistics execution suite for the returnable container environment.• Design and implementation of manufacturing execution system controlling manufacture and packaging of sterile pharmaceuticals in 160,000 sq. ft. facility. System directed all user actions, provided for approval checkpoints, and interfaced to batch preparation systems and high-speed filling equipment. Adhered to strict FDA Guidelines for regulatory compliance.

Worked with clients on development of system specifications and requirements. As staff scientist, defined multi-processor architectures and developed performance-optimized data acquisition and reduction algorithms.• Designed and managed implementation of multi-processor power plant monitoring systems. Systems utilized state-of-the-art mini-computers and custom data acquisition equipment, measuring data at more than 10,000 points per second with 99.99+% availability. The systems were developed under strict quality assurance procedures, and allowed customers to comply with the stringent Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements. System was declared by end users to be "best of breed," and company became the leading supplier of replacement monitoring systems in the US.• A cooperative development effort of a comprehensive data imaging system for 3-D viewing of CT and MR medical imagery. Designed and implemented camera control software for viewing of imagery, as well as x-ray calibration and artifact identification. This state-of-the-art project was one of the first object-oriented implementations in a combined peer-to-peer and client-server environment.• Design and implementation of regional automatic generation control (AGC) software for distribution of electrical power by generating utilities. While serving as start-up engineer at customer site, defined and implemented a natural gas brokering system interfaced to the power distribution system consoles, and implemented power wheeling controls, optimizing the brokerage of electricity between utilities.

Directed design and implementation of distributed high-reliability power generation monitoring systems in both nuclear and fossil facilities in north-central US. Worked with clients defining requirements, then managed the teams that implemented the systems.
