Founder and President of Newcastle University Investment society. Primarily we focus on three things: firstly organising talks and events with guest speakers from firms such as Amplify trading and guests such as an ex-Goldman Sachs trader come fund manager. Secondly we run a training programme teaching students about financial markets and how to trade on them. Lastly, we host trading competitions and prime students to join NCL Capital Partners. I started the society with 77 members in the first year and continued presidency in the second year to reach over 250 members, making it one of the largest university societies.
