During my tenure at Adjusters International, I assisted communities through their recovery from catastrophic events. I was able to do so by leading teams that provided both strategic and tactical level solutions in the Disaster Recovery division. We did so by analyzing the issue and developing innovative recovery and business solutions. In response to the BP oil spill in 2010, I served on the Area Leadership team as the Deputy Director of Branch Planning for the Mobile County, Al sector. In this capacity of interim management, I was responsible for all Leadership aspects of Branch planning Providing business solutions in support of an organization encompassing 4 Divisions, over 200 vessels and 1000 personnel, supporting operations covering two barrier islands and 135 miles of coastline. I was also the Area leader / Project Manager for a sub-contractor who provided a multitude of business solutions and personnel. • Leadership - As an independent contractor, I was hand-picked for this interim leadership role to lead the Branch Planning Section in support of the BP oil spill clean-up efforts in the Mobile County, Alabama area. • Leadership - As Project Manager, I led and maintained business development efforts while also leading a team of 23 personnel ensuring the continued maintenance and decontamination of over 100 vehicles, while also providing support of barge operations and beach clean up efforts on an un-populated island. • Business Solutions - In the interim management role of Deputy Planning Director, I developed and coordinated the plan for removal of 200,000 ft of boom, the removal of contaminated material from a 7 mile long uninhabited island, as well as the plan for the removal of boom and other material from protected lands and other sensitive areas. • Business Solutions - Also in this interim management role of Deputy Planning Director, I developed and executed a new requisition process that encompassed ordering, delivery and invoicing procedures.
