About Tom Dawkins

I'm a serial social entrepreneur with a passion for using technology and entrepreneurship to build a better world, and supporting others to do likewise. I co-founded StartSomeGood, an innovation agency and global social enterprise ecosystem builder, in 2011. I was CEO until March 2024, when I became Entrepreneur-in-Residence after StartSomeGood was acquired by General Good.StartSomeGood supports emerging social entrepreneurs around the world to design, test, launch, and grow social impact projects that increase the pace of innovation for social change. We run the StartSomeGood.com crowdfunding platform, the Good Hustle social enterprise design program, and host the StartSomeGood Network community, as well as designing and delivering innovation, capacity-building, and funding programs for partners across business, foundations, and governments.I am the Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer of LendForGood, a platform that connects social enterprises with impact investors. Our mission is to grow the business for good movement by deomcratising impact investment, letting everyone invest in their values and unlocking the impact potential in small and emerging businesses globally.I am a regular speaker and advocate for social enterprise, a coach for founders and a teacher of community-building and fundraising skills.
