My main project has been a rail track void monitoring system. This is an embedded systems unit that is clipped onto the track with a remote DAQ unit which collects information about signal point voids and track temperatures. It was developed as part of a government funded project to improve the rail infrastructure.I have also developed MS-DOS and Linux based seismic monitors which are running in a number of nuclear facilities around the world.As well as this I have also made 2 SCADA systems, one for radar tower structural modelling and the other for an oil rig.My projects feature reliable, efficient C coded DSP's and user friendly Java based GUI's for remote data collection, waveform display and data analysis, including FFT's and spectral response.
