In 2010 I moved back to Holland, having decided to stay active in the 'online world'. Another ambition was to work in the consultancy area and I found a job as consultant at Innovadis where both could be combined. In a very educational period I learned a lot about websites, e-commerce, online marketing, project management, user experience (ux) and the service industry in general.

In 2008, the ambitions of Conrad Electronic expanded to the UK market. With a small team we established Conrad Electronic UK Ltd as a pure online player. Working from Bedford and later from London, my primary responsibility was to set up the organisation (SAP, logistics, customer service), however being a small team I was also involved in content management, usability testing / user experience (ux), email marketing and social media. Performed a usability study together with the University of East London in 2009.

Responsible for transition from old to new product content database, the foundation for website and catalogue texts. Worked with Filemaker, STEP/STIBO and SAP. Managed 10-15 temporary workers in order to finish this transition in time and ensure product content quality and user experience.

For 6 months I investigated the logistics process for urgent deliveries. In case of a MRI / CT scanner breakdown, machine spare parts need delivery a.s.a.p. as these situations are stressful. Research outcomes were recommendations that would save Philips 50% in time and costs in this process, and improve the engineer's experience. The strategy for carrying through the desired changes was backed up by change management theory so chances for success were maximized.
