The purpose of the Global Media Council is to create new connections, share ideas and learnings between the industry’s thought leaders to help drive their businesses and safeguard their future. Participation is by invitation only and the Council attendees will be rotated from the membership at events around the world. The Council meetings are closed-door sessions, only the Council members are in the room, this is different from any other advertiser forum and is what makes the Global Media Council so unique. It was launched in 2018 and each Council session offers a rare opportunity for a dozen or so media leaders from ambitious global advertisers to speak candidly and privately in a safe environment. The Global Media Council is a networking and learning initiative, it is not a trade association and it costs nothing for members to join or attend Council meetings.
