An experienced senior leader of Further and Higher Education, currently a member of the executive team at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College working in the role of Deputy Principal, Curriculum and Innovation. Reporting to the CEO I am accountable for the strategic leadership of the College's curriculum provision from pre entry to Higher Education. I also take strategic oversight of quality and student experience.I am passionate in supporting colleagues to develop theirs skills and realise their potential so that we can meet the needs of our students, communities, employers and wider stakeholders.With experience in six colleges, I have extensive operational and strategic knowledge of all elements of Further and Higher Education, including policies, funding and wider educational frameworks, I have a strong track record of quality improvement, financial management and curriculum development and design (from pre Entry to Post Graduate) and work strategically with partners both locally and nationally. A driven Educational leader I believe strongly in the value of Further Education as a conduit for students to progress themselve on to either further/ higher study or meaningful employment in their chosen field.

We are proud to be recognised as OFSTED grade 2 and continue to work with all of our stake holders to be recognised as a high-quality training institution for our students and a great learning partner for individuals and businesses. We continue work with all of our local and regional partners to drive up productivity and growth within the East and West Midlands.

This included accountability for the full breadth of curriculum from pre Entry level to Higher Education across all Faculties. I played a key role in the recent merger to become Nottingham College, which is one of the largest Colleges in the UK, serving over 35000 learners with an annual turnover of approximately £80M. The College maintained 16-18 results during and since the merger and continues to reform its offer to meet the changing needs of students and employers.I played a key strategic role in the development of the £58M 'City Hub', and development and improvement of our retained estate to provide aspirational learning environments for all Nottingham students. -

The area underwent a major rationalisation of structure, reducing the number of Academies from three to two and, in conjunction with changes to curriculum delivery (Programme of Study), achieved in considerable curriculum savings over a two year period whilst delivering excellent quality teaching, learning and assessment to circa 1500 full time students.I forged stronger links across the City and nationally positioning the college as a key educational provider from creative courses, including being one of only nine colleges in the UK who have a progression accord with University of the Arts London.
