Subject of Research: Corporate Governance of Banks under the supervision of Prof. Mr. Raas and Prof. Mr. Bartman

Next to the position as Junior Teacher at the Department of Public Administration, I finished my Master Company Law with Financial Law as specialisation this year. The subject of the thesis was the (civil) liability of financial supervisors.

I have been teaching first and second year undergraduates courses in research methods and policy agenda-setting & decision-making at the Institute of Public Administration.

In this position I was part of various research specialized around the position of higher civil servants and Dutch Government Renewal (Vernieuwing Rijksdienst). This research had two main elements. On the one hand we've taken numerous interviews with the (current) Secretary-Generals and on the other hand we did international comparative research regarding the position of higher civil servants. Besides this research, i've had the opportunity to teach undergraduates in the course Political Philosophy.

In this function I had to provide assistance to the Director of the Institute of Public Administration. This function had two main elements. On the one hand, I would assist in a more coordinative/administrative role and on the other hand I had the role as a Research Assistant of Professor Steunenberg.

As part of the Master Company Law, I've done an internship at AKD in the months June and July.

Next to my study, I worked as an expedition and administrative assistent at a company specialised in the import and export of vegetables and fruits. My main task was to assist in the whole logistic process as for instance the control of the to be exported goods and the providance of the necessary logistic papers.
