While working at the Denmark headquarters, supported new users, rolled out tested Microsoft security updates, and maintained all Lego.com Windows servers remotely 24/7.■ Migrated 300 physical ESX servers to a virtual center infrastructure platform■ Set up, configured and supported a new Microsoft Application Center which made, built, managed and monitored web applications and clustersWhile working as the Windows Systems Admin:■ Built hundreds of Windows 2000/2003 physical servers■ P2V’d 127 servers into eight VMware ESX servers, greatly saving the company costs in energy use and service costs; and decreased the number of hardware errors■ Created a Microsoft Cluster Server for Active/Passive SQL, which allowed a safe increased number of applications in a high-performance computing environment■ Created a QA and Proof of Concept development environment that mirrored LEGO.com production, which included TCP/IP, DNS and WINS, and allowed for new products to be developed and tested more quickly in a fail safe environment
