•Recruit Training at Parris Island, SC•Led 10-man 60mm mortar section through numerous deployments and live-fire exercises in California, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, North Carolina and Norway. •Multiple deployments to Bridegport, CA for cold weather training and summer “rock package” including live fire exercises•Conducted garrison and field training programs. Trained to safely hook-up loads.•In theatre (LST-1180 Manitowoc) for Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm as part of 4th MEB, 26th MEU-Squad Leader of Mortar Section during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm (Certificate of Commendation).-Section Leader of Mortar Section during Combined Arms Exercise (CAX) in Bridgeport, CA (Certificate of Commendation).-Company Clerk and Scout Skier serving as primary assistant to Company and Battalion supply shops, to include inventory, procurement, staging and distribution of supplies during cold weather training in Norway and in Bridgeport, CA (Certificate of Commendation).-As Company Clerk, was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all significant paper and electronic records for over 200 Marines.
