I’m the recently retired Chairman, President & CEO of Assurity Group Inc. and subsidiaries. I was fortunate to have been our company’s CEO for nearly 27 years. For over 38 years I have been the CEO of a bank or insurance company.I’m now a corporate board member, entrepreneur, business consultant, investor, and executive coach. I have expertise in strategic planning, fostering innovation and coaching entrepreneurs and executives to capitalize on their strengths to perform at a high level. I recently authored a book on business leadership with the title of “Boost”. Outside of my professional work, you’ll find me working in our farming operation Henning Farms, LLC. We are devoted to regenerative agriculture. I try to do my part in the conservation movement by planting hundreds of trees and bushes and growing green cover crops to build soil fertility without chemicals. Our farms are a haven for all native species, especially for upland birds.Specialties include: corporate governance / investment management / risk management / strategic planning / fostering innovation / sales and sales management.
