I’m a proven leader in Software Engineering. I thrive in a high feedback, open and honest, agile environments. I’ve been on multiple agile teams since October 2015. My first team (Scrum then Kanban), and my current team are both acknowledged by others as being high performance. I was instrumental in making my current team the highly performant scrum team it is today. I took a lot of lessons learned from my original Scrum/Kanban team and applied them to my current team when starting them on a more formalized journey, to being a high performance, self-managed, agile team.I spent the first 11 years of my Software Development career as the either the sole developer or primary developer on a small team. I am an agile developer, with experience and enthusiasm for Iterative, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.I’m “ambitiously lazy”; I love automating repetitive tasks. Automation promotes consistency and reliability.I’ve migrated multiple Java applications to Maven. I’ve even created a Maven Plugin, and contributed to others. I’ve integrated Docker with Maven and Jenkins for Integration testing.I’m a Jack-Of-All Trades. I like to say “I’m a Software Engineer with a DevOps flair”.I’m a certified Systems Administrator. It’s my combination of passion, skill, and knowledge in: Software Engineering, DevOps/Automation, Systems Administration, Database Design, and networking, which really helps me excel at leading Software Engineering teams to excellence.I’m looking to continue leading agile teams deliver better products, in highly automated ways.
Listed skills include Databases, Linux, System Administration, C#, and 45 others.
