As an Oracle Practioner since 1996, I have seen many aspects of Oracle technologies, but am always looking to learn more. Currently, I have been focused on migrations. I have managed more than 26 migration projects involving Oracle databases, applications, technologies and various third party supporting tools in existing data centers, new data centers, and to cloud infrastructure. Other project experiences include; include; implementations, upgrades, integration, license analysis, and reporting projects. Roles include project management, quality assurance, and advisory roles for projects spanning forty-five (45) countries with data centers across the globe. Specific tool experience include; Oracle Applications - Financials, Projects, Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Customer Relationship, and Human Resources applications. Technology experience includes; solution architecture, positioning and/or use of Data Warehousing, e-Commerce Solutions, and Oracle Middleware including SOA design. My project experience includes working with diverse customers, vendors, functional, technical, and database analysts to communicate their vested interests. I utilize multiple project methods including classic waterfall (PMBOK), Oracle AIM, Agile, and SCRUM methods. Adjusting and adopting to the project organization, I look at what contributing factors are required such as; resource time allocation, cost management, change management, and scope management.
