A software architect and developer with more than 20 years'​ experience, specialising in mission critical systems for the emergency services and core infrastructure development. Tom is currently leading development of Motorola Command Central CRS, a revolutionary web based ICCS product enabling the delivery of resilient and responsive voice services to the control room.From 2008 to 2015 Tom led and managed the development of Seed Software's flagship “Brigid Command and Control”, the primary control room system in 3 of the UK's Fire and Rescue Services.A skilled and versatile technical professional, Tom is currently working with the Agile methods (notably Scrum) in a MS .NET environment using VS, C#, WCF, EF, MVC, LINQ, MS SQL and PostgreSQL using Atlassian tools and Jenkins. Previous platforms include Oracle, Win32, Linux/*nix, VMS and embedded. Previous languages notably include C, C++, Delphi, Perl and PHP.In addition to his broad range of technical skills, Tom provides a unique business perspective; is accustomed to leading teams; representing the organisation; working directly with senior management and has a range of business experience incorporating project management, sales, solutions architecture, product management, I&C and support.Historically Tom's areas of specialism have been server-side; communication, integration and databases. In the last 6 years however his expertise has extended into UX and Web development.
